Biography

Courtney Baker, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a specialist in complex family planning, including management of early pregnancy loss and contraception for medically complex patients.

Dr. Baker earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern. She then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern, followed by advanced training through a fellowship in complex family planning at UC Davis Health in Sacramento, California. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

Dr. Baker is a member of the Society of Family Planning and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

She is the author of numerous presentations and academic articles related to her areas of expertise.
