Biography

Neena Passi, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in cardiovascular diseases, with a focus on preventive cardiology, onco-cardiology, and women's heart disease.

Dr. Passi earned her medical degree through an accelerated seven-year B.S./M.D. program at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Montefiore Medical Center, followed by advanced training in cardiovascular disease, onco-cardiology, and multimodality cardiovascular imaging through a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Passi’s clinical and research interests include preventive health care, especially in regard to the prevention of heart disease in women and the prevention of cardiotoxicity in patients undergoing active chemo/radiation therapies, as well as multimodality cardiovascular imaging.

She is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American College of Physicians, and the National Lipid Association.
