Biography

Terry Spark Corwin, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His areas of interest include stone disease, benign prostate hyperplasia, vasectomy, and general urology.

Dr. Corwin was born and raised in Waco and attended Wake Forest University as an undergraduate. He earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern, where he also performed his residency in urology (1996 – 2002). He and his family then moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where he was in private practice in Everett, Washington, for 17 years, a decade of which he served as Chief of Urology at Providence Regional Medical Center. He returned to his home state of Texas and joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.

He is a member of the American Urological Association and is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He was included in D Magazine's Best Doctors in Collin County list for 2020, 2021, and 2022. As a urologic surgeon in Everett, Dr. Corwin was named one of Seattle’s Top Doctors by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. He has published several academic articles during residency.

He is an avid musician and plays multiple instruments, and enjoys golf and spending time with his family and beloved dog Rudy.
