On the day of your scheduled video visit:
Several weeks before your visit, one of our health professionals will contact you to collect information to help us customize your itinerary for the daylong evaluation, which will last six to eight hours.
On the day of your visit, one of our Executive Health associates will greet you and help you get settled in a private suite designed for a comfortable yet efficient experience. You will receive a detailed copy of your schedule for the day.
We will have asked you to fast for 12 hours before the appointment, so after your morning screening tests, a heart-healthy breakfast will be served. You will also be provided a nutritious lunch.
All our exam rooms are equipped with a workspace, screen, and relaxing chair. Our staff will be with you throughout the visit to facilitate each step of your assessment and address any needs you may have.
Dietary and fitness consultants will visit with you to make personalized plans. Our team will accompany you to any imaging tests conducted outside the Executive Health clinic. At the end of your day, you’ll meet with our lead physician to discuss your test results, ask questions, and go over any recommendations for follow-up care.
You’ll also receive a follow-up communication from us with all your information from the day, plus coordination of services that will connect you to UT Southwestern’s system of expert primary and specialty care.
To facilitate ongoing communication, we recommend that you enroll in MyChart, which allows patients to communicate directly with UTSW providers, update contact information, complete visit questionnaires, and request clinic appointments. Sign in or sign up for MyChart.
