Who We Are

The UT Southwestern Medical Center Richardson/Plano – Primary Care Clinic provides care for families and individuals of all ages, from wellness education, immunizations, and screenings to acute and chronic disease management. We offer full-service laboratory and imaging services, and if specialty care is needed, our physicians will provide a referral while continuing to manage your overall care.

Meet Dr. Marium Afzal

Marium Afzal, M.D., specializes in preventive care, women’s health, and pediatrics. She has trained in and performs several outpatient procedures, including skin biopsies, cyst removals, incision and drainage of abscesses, and musculoskeletal injections.

Amrutha Pavle, M.D., specializes in primary care and preventive medicine. Dr. Pavle is a member of professional organizations including the American Medical Association, the American Association of Family Physicians, and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

Bliss Puthenpurayil, M.D., earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed a residency in family medicine at UT Southwestern. She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.

On the day of the appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. Free and ample parking is available outside of the building.
