UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Advanced Kidney Disease and Transplant Program – the only locally-based kidney transplant program operating in East Texas – offers patients convenient care at our office location in Tyler, Texas.

Our Tyler kidney transplant clinic is staffed full time by local UT Southwestern transplant staff. All pre-and post-transplant care is provided at the clinic in Tyler, where we perform pre-transplant assessment, waitlist management, and follow up care. 

How Does It Work? 

Patients from Tyler and the surrounding areas needing treatment for advanced kidney disease or evaluation for potential kidney transplantation can be referred to the clinic, which offers the following services:

• Pre-transplant physician evaluations
• Coordination of services and care by local clinicians
• Waitlist management
• Post-transplant care

Transplant surgeries are performed at UT Southwestern’s state-of-the-art facilities in Dallas.
