Joseph Hill, M.D., Ph.D., Chief of UT Southwestern’s Division of Cardiology and Director of the Harry S. Moss Heart Center, has been selected as Editor-in-Chief of the American Heart Association’s premier scientific journal Circulation, a peer-reviewed publication providing original research and related discussions for cardiologists and others in cardiovascular medicine.

As Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Hill will oversee the peer-review process and be responsible for the overall content of Circulation, as well as the six Circulation subspecialty journals.

“Dr. Hill is an outstanding choice to be Editor-in-Chief, and the selection is a reflection of his stature in the broader cardiology community,” says Greg Fitz, M.D., Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Provost, and Dean of UT Southwestern Medical School. “We are proud to have Circulation based at our institution and appreciate the vote of confidence in our faculty.”
