Mentoring Award

This award celebrates clinicians who demonstrate exceptional commitment and effectiveness as a mentor to health care providers.

Award Eligibility Criteria

All UTSW clinical faculty, regardless of site of service, are eligible.

Nomination should provide specific examples as to the nominee's:

Ability to attract or seek out high potential learners who desire the value of an accomplished clinician’s mentoring and guidance in their development
Active work in the education, nurturing, and mentoring of all levels of learners, which might include medical students, residents, clinical staff, or other providers and colleagues, both formally and informally

All members of the UTSW community are invited to nominate UTSW clinical faculty colleagues for this award.

Nominations will be accepted online from June 20 - August 3.
