UT Southwestern accepts most major medical insurance plans. We recommend that patients verify their coverage directly with the clinical practice or hospital where they are being seen.

For video visits, each insurance plan has a specific benefit design based on coverage. While most insurance companies are fully covering video visits in the same way in-person visits are covered, we encourage patients to reach out to their insurance company regarding their benefits.

Paying a Bill

Payments can be made online, by phone, or by mail.

Pay Online

Patients can pay a bill online via their MyChart account. Log in, click on the Billing and Insurance tab, and select the statement to pay. Create a MyChart account.

Patients with a balance due can send us a secure message via MyChart by signing in, clicking on the Billing and Inquiries tab, and selecting Billing Account Summary. If there's a balance, there will be a link that reads “See Account Details.” The Account Details page allows patients to send a message.
