Simmons Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center at RedBird offers state-of-the-art, specialized cancer care and general hematology services. This includes the latest advances to diagnose and treat disorders. Conveniently located in Southwest Dallas County, we’re part of the growing UT Southwestern network of care.

The National Cancer Institute and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network have both recognized Simmons Cancer Center as one of the elite centers in the country for patient care, research, and education. Simmons Cancer Center is the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in North Texas and one of just five in the entire Southwest. In addition, it is among only 32 U.S. cancer research centers to be designated by the NCI as a National Clinical Trials Network Lead Academic Participating Site.

Day of Your Appointment

On the day of your appointment, please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. We do our best to see patients at their scheduled appointment time.

Please bring the following items:

  • Current insurance card
  • Method of payment
  • Current medications
  • Completed paperwork, if you received forms before your visit

To facilitate ongoing communication, we recommend patients sign up with MyChart, which allows patients to communicate directly with doctors, request prescription refills, update contact information, view test results, and request clinic appointments. Sign in or sign up for MyChart.
