Hospital Pricing Transparency

We understand that insurance and health care costs can be complex and confusing. At UT Southwestern, we are committed to providing our patients with the information needed to make informed health care decisions and to minimize any surprises when it comes to paying for those services.

In compliance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, UT Southwestern has made publicly available a comprehensive list of our gross charges, negotiated rates, cash-discounted rates, and minimum and maximum negotiated rates for all services at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, Zale Lipshy Pavilion, and hospital-based clinics across the health system. This information does not necessarily represent what an insurance company will pay or what you will owe. Your final charges will be based on many factors, such as the time spent in surgery and recovery, specific equipment and supplies and/or implants used, additional tests required by the physician, and/or any special care or unexpected conditions or complications.

Prices are subject to change without notice and are updated annually.
